CRAIG VOGT

Craig Vogt qualified as an electrician and worked in the electrical contracting indusry for 7 years. Thereafter he continued in the electrical field but pursued consulting engineering, working for BFBA Consultants.

During his 10 years at BFBA he specialized in lighting design but his expereince was spread across all areas of the industry.

ESKOM AND MUNICIPAL PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

 

uMngeni Municipality Contract: Meter reading, Meter disconnections and re-connections, Network and street light Maintenance and New supply connections. Network Strengthening. Design and installation of new and extensions for 40 Farm worker housing areas.

 

Eskom Projects: Pricing of Tender documentation, Project planning, roll out plan and project implementation including site establishment and site supervision. A few of the Eskom Projects were: Extension of overhead network in Mpophomeni Kwa Xhamalala, New overhead network for Msinga. New overhead network for Maphumulo. Clerk of Works and site-inspections for the Eskom Newcastle and Bergville networks.

 

Umngeni Municipality Projects: Design and installation of pre-paid meters for HADCA. Design for HADA new development. Design and Bill of Quantities for a Step-Down Facility in Howick. Retrofit of conventional meters to New Pre-Paid Meters for the Howick Spar. Design and Supply a new 315kVA Mini Sub for Cash and Carry in Howick including the supply and installation of Feeder cable and RMU, Earth Mats and certification for uMngeni Municipality and Eskom.​
